About the weekend
A weekend away with your friends doing Pilates and reconnecting with nature? We can't imagine anything better!
This year at our 4th annual event, we have THREE amazing Pilates teachers hosting 4 classes over the weekend. As something different, we will have Friday night trivia together and Saturday night movie night in the great room. Popcorn included!
Not only will you get to unplug in this remote setting only minutes away from Greater Vancouver, but you will get to learn some new skills from some of Vancouver's best teachers, make some new friends and just be yourself for a couple of days away from it all.

Kirsten McFarlane
Pilates nerd at heart
Kirsten McFarlane, is a 2nd Generation Classical Pilates Teacher and co-owner of The Pilates Collective. She lives and breathes Pilates and continues to invest in her growth through regular self-practice and participation in The Method, an invitation-only graduate level internship program offered through Vintage Pilates in LA. Through this program, she was one of the lucky few to study with Jay Grimes, who studied with and taught beside Joe Pilates. She is involved in training and mentoring teachers at all stages in their journey. And she is the founder of the Pilates Teachers Collective Sessions, which are monthly learning opportunities for Pilates teachers. When she is not in the studio, she is mum to two teenagers, or playing with her dog Revi, preferably in the mountains
Lela Dawson
Engaging, encouraging & enthusiastic!
Lela has been practicing Pilates for over 25 years. She is the owner of Lela D Pilates Studio where she is devoted to helping people improve their posture and strength through her Pilates private lessons.
Lela is a graduate of Classical Pilates training through The Pilates Centre in Boulder Colorado USA, where she completed her program requirements at Kalijo Pilates on the Sunshine Coast. She has also studied with Balanced Body and Polestar Pilates. Lela has a Certificate in Health and Wellness from Simon Fraser University and is Nationally and Provincially Certified with NPCP and BCRPA. She is a BCRPA Trainer of Fitness Leaders (TFL), workshop presenter, and an active member of the BCRPA Fitness Advisory Committee.

Golden Ears Park, lies the serene Loon Lake. Originally a UBC Forestry department research facility, the lodge is now used year round for retreats and summer camps.

FAQ
Q: I am new to Pilates - are beginners welcome?
A: Yes, all levels are welcome! Our experienced teachers are experts at working with all body types and capabilities! If you have an injury, please let the teacher know ahead of class.
Q: What's included in the cost?
A: 2 nights shared accommodation (double room or triple/quad room), 6 meals, 4 Pilates classes hosted by 3 outstanding Pilates instructors, & a welcome gift.
Q: I would prefer to have my own room. Are single rooms available?
A: Yes, there are 6 single rooms available. The single room availability is limited due to the lodge only sleeping 36 max. Single supplement is limited to allow the maximum number of attendees possible.
Q: What if I fall ill or I cannot attend for another reason?
A: Your ticket is non-refundable, but we will do our utmost to help you resell your ticket via our email list and social media channels.
Q: I am vegan, are there vegan or vegetarian food options?
A: Yes! You can indicate this on your registration form. GF is also accomodated.
Q: What kind of equipment is needed for the weekend?
A: Just your yoga mat! (Feel free to bring a Magic Circle, Pilates ball, etc. to enhance your practice!)
Q: I am coming with a couple of friends - can we share a room?
A: Of course! Please indicate your friend(s) name in the registration page. There are a few triple and quad rooms available.

Q: I would like to attend, but am not coming with a friend and want to share a room. Who will I be paired up with?
A: We will ensure you are paired up with someone great!
