    About the weekend

    A weekend away with your friends doing Pilates and reconnecting with nature? We can't imagine anything better! 

    This year at our 3rd annual event, we have THREE amazing Pilates teachers hosting 4 classes over the weekend. In addition, we have a special guest by the name of Asja Harris, a nutrition and wellness coach. Asja will be hosting 2 sessions for us. 

    Not only will you get to unplug in this remote setting only minutes away from Greater Vancouver, but you will get to learn some new skills from some of Vancouver's best teachers, make some new friends and just be yourself for a couple of days away from it all.

    Tracy Dekker

    Laughter, love & enthusiasm

    Tracy has been a student of Pilates for over 20 years and in 2009 took her Advanced Teacher Training through 'Pilates from the Centre' in North Vancouver, under the umbrella of the Pilates Center in Boulder, CO.

    She continues in her Pilates practice and advances her education in movement by attending workshops and classes. Tracy is also part of faculty for the Teacher Training Programs at PFTC in North Vancouver. 

    She brings love, laughter and enthusiasm to her classes and believes Pilates is an amazing practice.

    Veronica McClurg

    Educator and Firecracker!

    Owner/intructor at The Surrey Pilates studio. Veronica was an aerobic instructor for 15+ years before being introduced to Pilates. She has now been teaching Pilates since 2000. Originally certified in Stott pilates, Veronica later went on to receive another diploma at The Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado, believed to be "the Harvard of Pilates", where she later received her masters. She is now a teacher trainer/lecturer/examiner for Pilates from the Center in North Vancouver.

    Ryan McClurg

    Functional and practical movement

    A sports enthusiast at heart, Ryan McClurg has trained since childhood on his skill and fitness level, participating in various sports such as rugby, dance, wrestling and various martial arts. His first passion however lies in hockey, where he reached the Junior B level. Along with his Classical Pilates Instructor certification, Ryan is also knowledgeable in Pilates Body Rolling and is a certified personal trainer through the BCRPA.

    Asja Harris

    Fuel Your Best!

    Asja Harris, owner of Fuel Your Best Nutrition Coaching, specializes in nutrition and mindset transformation coaching. 

     

    Just like with Pilates, her coaching philosophy focuses on aligning you from the inside out, bringing balance, focusing on strengths, and reestablishing a connection between your mind and body when it comes to how you approach your well-being. Whether than be through proper nutrition, stress management or self compassion, Asja is here to help others to find their optimal well-being.

    Hidden away 20 minutes past Maple Ridge next to

    Golden Ears Park, lies the serene Loon Lake. Originally a UBC Forestry department research facility, the lodge is now used year round for retreats and summer camps.

    FAQ

    Q: I am new to Pilates - are beginners welcome?

    A: Yes, all levels are welcome! Our experienced teachers are experts at working with all body types and capabilities! If you have an injury, please let the teacher know ahead of class.

    Q: What's included in the cost?

    A: 2 nights shared accommodation (double room or triple/quad room), 6 meals, 4 Pilates classes hosted by 3 outstanding Pilates instructors, a welcome gift, Friday evening social, special guest speaker Asja Harris presenting Saturday evening.

    Q: I would prefer to have my own room. Are single rooms available?

    A: Yes, there are 4 single rooms available. The single room availability is limited due to the lodge only sleeping 36 max. Single supplement is limited to allow the maximum number of attendees possible.

    Q: What if I fall ill or I cannot attend for another reason?

    A: Your ticket is non-refundable, but we will do our utmost to help you resell your ticket via our email list and social media channels.

    Q: I am vegan, are there vegan or vegetarian food options?

    A: Yes! You can indicate this on your registration form. GF is also accomodated.

    Q: What kind of equipment is needed for the weekend?

    A: Just your yoga mat! (Feel free to bring a Magic Circle, Pilates ball, etc. to enhance your practice!)

    Q: I am coming with a couple of friends - can we share a room?

    A: Of course! Please indicate your friend(s) name in the registration page. There are a few triple and quad rooms available.

    Q: I would like to attend, but am not coming with a friend and want to share a room. Who will I be paired up with?

    A: We will ensure you are paired up with someone great! 

    Q: When will the weekend schedule be released?

    A: By mid April!

    SINGLE OCCUPANCY: $1055 + website ticket event fee

    DOUBLE OCCUPANCY: $855 + website ticket event fee

    QUAD SHARE: $815 + website ticket event fee

    *Room assignment is based on registration date. First come first served. 8 double rooms, 4 quad rooms, 4 single rooms.

    *All rooms have a private bathroom.

    *Prices inclusive of tax. Additional Wix event service charge fee added at time of purchase.

    *If the package you desire is sold out, please contact pilatesandpinotretreat@gmail.com. Due to WIX ticket set up, limited numbers of tickets can be sold in each category but this may be adjusted if available.
